Isaiah 9:4-6

^4 (A)For the yoke of his burden,
    ^(B)and the staff for his shoulder,
    the rod of his oppressor,
    you have broken as ^(C)on the day of Midian.
^5 (D)For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult
    and every garment rolled in blood
    will be burned as fuel for the fire.
^6 (E)For to us a child is born,
    to us ^(F)a son is given;
^(G)and the government shall be ^(H)upon^[a] his shoulder,
    and his name shall be called^[b]
Wonderful ^(I)Counsellor, ^(J)Mighty God,
    ^(K)Everlasting ^(L)Father, Prince of ^(M)Peace.
